The school focuses on providing children with the best possible ballet instruction from both an educational and medical perspective.

Classical ballet has proven to be an excellent form of physical training for children. It corrects poor posture and boosts self-confidence, regardless of whether ballet training remains a hobby or the child later pursues professional training.

Children aged 4 to 6 are introduced to dance movements in a playful way. Musical and rhythmic talents are encouraged and developed in the lessons.

Participation of students in performances at the Zurich Opera House

Close cooperation with the Zurich Opera House is another important aspect for the students of the Zurich Opera House Ballet School. Even the youngest children have the opportunity to gain stage experience and realistic contact with the theatre, as they are invited to perform in opera, operetta and ballet productions at the Zurich Opera House.
