A Member of the Ballet School for the Zurich Opera House Association!

The ballet school for the Zurich Opera House is one of the largest private training centres in Switzerland. Classical ballet is taught at all levels with professional and amateur classes as well as modern dance and character dance. Under the artistic direction of Doris Catana Beriozoff and the patronage of Kinsun Chan, over 600 students are taught by highly trained teachers. Depending on their level of education, advanced students always have the opportunity to appear in public in productions by the Zurich Opera House and in their own events.

The school is sponsored by the “Association Ballet School for the Zurich Opera House”, which is self-financed and receives no contributions from either the public purse or the Zurich Opera House. Download the statutes of the sponsoring association.

We are therefore dependent on private support and would like to invite you to personally help to bring the young Elèven closer to dance and thereby promote their achievements, whether as a hobby or possibly for a future career. The contributions help to financially support our annual performances in the opera house .

In return, you will go to a stage rehearsal once a year invited to the opera house. As a member, you have the opportunity to attend a training session to gain insight into the world of dance.

Any interested individual or company can become a member. Membership fees and donations are tax-deductible.
